Hints and options for using the IWH-Search
1. In most cases the FastSearch option is highly recommended
for fast results. It searches in all fields that are stored with employees (eg. name, research activities, descriptors) or
publications (eg. title, author, abstract, deskriptors).
2. All free text fields (e.g. the FastSearch, the title or the content fields)
work as follows:
- more than one search term are possible
- search term don't have to be written out
- no boolean operators are needed, all terms are linked by AND automatically
- no wildcards (* or ?) or quotes are needed
- search is case insensitiv
- example: "konjunktur invest ost" searches for
all publications that contain all 3 terms
