Since July 2012, Geraldine Dany is a PhD candidate in the Department of Macroeconomics. Since November 2012, she also holds the position of an economist at the Chair of Economics, especially Macroeconomics at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg.

Her main research interests are in the fields of monetary policy and economics, dynamic macroeconomics, as well as applied time series econometrics. Geraldine Dany studied International Economics and graduated MSc in Economics and International Economics at the University of Nottingham in 2012.
