Studying Transition and Integration - The STI-Network
Mission statement
The STI-Network supports European integration and seeks appropriate integration and problem solution strategies taking into consideration the specifics of the countries and regions given the leading political idea of integration. The network focuses its efforts on the development of scientific cooperation for the study of European integration with specific interest in the integration of post-transition countries. The scientific aims of the network are the following:
- Dealing with emerging economic problems of the EU and the Analyzing the integration process of the new EU member countries in comparison with former integration processes (above all in the Southern part of the EU),
- Analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of European institutions,
- Developing policy solutions,
- Euro area
Network membership is free of charge.
