ProdTool Common Report 2026

To support evidence-based policymaking and foster transparency in economic research, the key analytical findings and empirical tools of the Multimsprod ProdTool initiatives are made publicly available. This section provides direct access to the Common Report and the standardized replication script used to analyze and process the harmonized datasets.

This Common Report is the direct result of the joint efforts and dedicated work of National Productivity Board (NPB) staff across participating countries. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participating National Productivity Boards, institutions, and researchers whose invaluable collaboration, expertise, and shared efforts made this milestone possible.

Common Report

The comprehensive Common Report details the analytical framework, methodology, and comparative findings across participating European countries. It examines firm-level productivity dynamics, resource misallocation, and the implications of structural shifts on competitiveness within the European Union. The complete document can be accessed directly through the ProdTool Common Report.

Replication Script

In line with scientific best practices, we provide the complete replication package. These scripts enable researchers and National Productivity Boards (NPBs) to replicate the study's empirical results or adapt the routines to national micro-data infrastructures. The file is available for download here.
