In cooperation with the International Graduate Academy (InGrA) of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, doctoral students get trained in time management, scientific writing, presentations, and discussions, as well as career management. As a certificated university ensuring compatibility of family and job, InGrA will offer support for doctoral students with children. Together with InGrA's international Ph.D. network, strong efforts will be put in socially integrating especially international doctoral students. - HUI-Seminar (4th edition)
To enhance the interaction amongst finance scholars in the Berlin-Halle region, the Finance Group at Humboldt University (HU) and the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) organise a yearly one-day seminar for PhD students, PostDocs, and Assistant Professors to present ongoing research projects (1st seminar, 2nd seminar 3rd seminar 4th seminar). - Competitiveness Research Network

A joint initiative of DIW Berlin, ESMT Berlin, ifo Institute, IMFS, IWH, SAFE and ZEW, jointly offering PhD-level courses and lectures by the participating institutions and holding an annual PhD Workshop.
