IWH Policy Talk „Risk Sharing and Risk Reduction – The Challenges that Lie Ahead“

The Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) – Member of the Leibniz Association is pleased to inform about its next upcoming IWH Policy Talk „Risk Sharing and Risk Reduction – The Challenges that Lie Ahead“ with Andrea Enria, first Chairperson of the European Banking Authority (EBA). The talk will take place on Tuesday, No¬vember 7, 2017, 5:00 p.m., in the IWH conference room. You are hereby cordially invited to attend.

The European Banking Authority is part of the European System of Financial Supervision (ESFA). It is an independent EU Authority which works to ensure an effective and consistent level of prudential regulation and supervision across the European banking sector. Its overall objectives are to maintain financial stability in the EU and to ensure the orderly functioning of the banking sector.

The IWH Policy Talk is an after-work format which aims at bringing together re­nowned economists with economic enthusiasts. After a short keynote speech about a current economic topic, the alternating expert will discuss with IWH Presi­dent Reint E. Gropp. All participants are invited to contribute both during the offi­cial programme and afterwards in a casual atmosphere.
