Courses

Courses are organised in coordination with partner institutions within the Central-German Doctoral Program Economics (CGDE) network. IWH organises First-Year Courses in the fields of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Econometrics that are taught on a bi-weekly basis during the semester. Within the Special Courses internationally renowned researchers provide an overview of their respective fields of research. Personal Qualification Workshops strengthen the skills of academic writing and paper presentation.
