Data Providers

CompNet’s micro-level dataset is made possible through the dedicated contributions of national statistical institutes, central banks, and governmental research institutions from around 20 European countries. Their sustained efforts have enabled the creation of one of the most comprehensive and far-reaching micro datasets on competitiveness and productivity in Europe. Now in its sixth vintage, with the seventh currently in development, the dataset reflects years of close collaboration between these national data providers, CompNet’s research team, and the CompNet Secretariat. In addition to sharing firm-level micro data from their respective countries, these institutions actively engage by offering valuable methodological feedback and participating in cutting-edge research at the frontier of micro-based economic analysis.
