Pedro Armada joined the Centre for Business and Productivity Dynamics (IWH-CBPD) in September 2025. He is also Assistant Professor at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. His research focuses on how market power shapes innovation, inequality, and resource allocation.
Pedro Armada studied at Universidade do Minho and earned his Ph.D. from Fordham University. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as an economist at the Portuguese Securities Exchange Commission.
