- secretariat and office organisation for the head of Department Macroeconomics
- team assistant of the Chair of Economics, especially Macroeconomics in the premises of the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH)
- organisation of workshops, seminars and national and international conferences
- collaboration in the organisation of the joint economic forecast of the leading German economic research institutes
Manuela Scholz joined the IWH in 1994. She is taking care of the administrative tasks for the head of the department and organises events for the Department of Macroeconomics.
